Hostel 

The separate Hostel facilities are provided for Ladies & Gents in a institute premises. Accommodation capacity for gents and girls are 40 and 20 respectively. The hostel admission is allocated on merit basis. Few seats are reserved for students belonging to reserve category.

Museum

A huge attractive museum has designed in the entrance corridor of the premises. It comprises various physiological specimens, anatomical, pilot equipment, herbarium sheets & drugs. Different samples of innovative dosage forms and surgical supplies various contraceptives.

Community health cell

Community health is a subject of study within the medical and clinical sciences which focuses on population groups and communities as opposed to individual patients. 
It is a discipline which concerns itself with the study and improvement of the health characteristics of biological communities.

Community health includes three broad categories:


  • Primary healthcare which refers to interventions that focus on the individual or family such as hand-washing, immunization, personal dietary choices, and lifestyle improvement.
  • Secondary healthcare refers to those activities which focus on the environment such as draining puddles of water near the house, clearing bushes, and spraying insecticides to control vectors like mosquitoes.
  • Tertiary healthcare on the other hand refers to those interventions that take place in a hospital setting, such as intravenous rehydration or surgery.

The success of community health programs relies upon the transfer of information from health professionals to the general public using one-to-one or one to many communication.


National service scheme (N.S.S.)

The institute started N.S.S unit from academic year 2007-08, with a aim to develop the student’s social personality by arranging various camps like:
    Skill & personality development camp.
    Outing camp.
    Social camp.


To conduct various activities through it, such as:
To conduct awareness programs on communicable diseases.
    To educate rural population on health & hygiene.
    To develop discipline intact.
